Seether, Adelitas Way, Kopek, and Angels Fall 6/7/11

What do you get when you are in a room with 300+ people and no AC? You get hot and sweaty. But, by having no AC it made the show all the more memorable. The first band was called angels fall. I'm not exactly sure where they are from, but they are a new band. They dropped a roll tide and the crowed either cheered or booed. (I cheered happily. RTMF!:)) Their album is coming out soon. They had one really catchy song "drunk enough" and I expect to hear a lot more from them soon. Then Kopek came out and they were ok. They were from Dublin, Ireland. They played "white collar lies", "love is dead", and cocaine chest pains. CCP was their first single when they came to America. LID was their second. Then Adelitas Way came on. I was so fired up for them! I had only seen them once prior to this show and I knew that I wanted to see them again. They have great stage presence, their performances are super energetic, and they involve the audience. They played sick, scream, cage the beast, invincible and a few new songs I didn't know. Their new album came out that day. After they played, I went to go meet Rick (singer). I thanked him for inspiring me with his music and I told him I've been a fan since day one. A Day To Remember Atlanta 4/15/11

Going to a concert is always a great way to spend a spring break. Not to mention a concert in the middle of a lightning storm, under a small tree, by a piece of metal, in an outdoor venue the size of a backyard with 3,999 of your closest friends. Epic WIN! We Came As Romans opened this show. They played about 6 or 7 songs (I think). Then Pierce the Veil busted out on stage with Black and Yellow by Wiz Khalifa. Then they rolled on with Besitos, The Boy Who Could Fly, Yeah Boy and Doll Face, Bulletproof Love, Like A G6, Caraphernelia. During YBADF, he pulled this girl named Alexandria out of the crowd and brought her on stage. Let's just say that it was humorous and i was insanely jealous of her. And during Caraphernelia, Jeremy from ADTR joined them on stage to do his screaming parts. sexy. After their set was over, Bring Me The Horizon came on. They played It Never Ends, Diamonds Aren't Forever, Alligator Blood, Fuck, Blessed With a Curse, Anthem, and Chelsea Smile. Oli Sykes has such a beautiful British Accent. Finally it was *drum roll* A DAY TO REMEMBER time! That was when the downpour officially began. It rained super hard for the first half of their set But the rain made it more memorable, in my opinion. They had an epic setlist too:

Jeremy said in the middle of the show that his friends in Ocala, FL., would not stand out in the rain all day to see them perform and he thanked us for sticking with them. He also talked about how Atlanta was one of the first cities they played not in their home state. He also came out at the end and said "I have some good news and i've got some bad news. the bad news is that we have to stop playing. but the good news is WE'LL BE BACK THIS SUMMER ON WARPED TOUR!!!!" *cue screaming crowd* This show was one that should be memorable for everyone that went whether they like a day to remember or not (no pun intended)

Daughtry, Theory Of A Deadman, And Cavo 12/4/09

so the daughtry show was great. the main reason i went was for theory of a deadman. they were def. one of the best live bands i have ever seen =] they played all of my favorite songs. but i will talk about that later. the first band of the night was cavo. i had already seen cavo at bayfest so i knew what to expect. they were great as usual. when they were over i went to meet them. they are some pretty cool dudes. i like how they take time for their fans. even when the show was over they were still out meeting fans. i was kinda scared to go meet them because there wasnt a long set change so i ran all the way to meet them and i ran super fast back and made it just in time for theory of a deadman. they opened with so happy. it made me super happy. then they played little smirk, by the way, no surprise, hate my life, not meant to be, santa monica, paradise city, and bad girlfriend. great setlist right there. then daughtry came on and played

OMG BAYFEST WAS AMAZING! PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST OUTDOOR CONCERTS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. THE BANDS I GOT TO SEE WERE SAVING ABEL, P.O.D., PUDDLE OF MUDD, AND BUCKCHERRY. THEY WERE ALL AMAZING. SAVING ABEL WAS FIRST AND THEY OPENED WITH IN GOD’S EYES IT WAS A FREAKOUT MOMENT FOR ME! THEN LATER THEY PLAYED NEW TATTOO, DROWNING (FACE DOWN), ADDICTED, BEAUTIFUL YOU, RUNNING FROM YOU, AND 18 DAYS. THEY WERE AWSUM AND I WILL MOST DEFINATLEY BE SEEING THEM AGAIN. AFTER SAVING ABEL WAS P.O.D! THAT WAS PROBABLY THE SCARIEST-CROWD-BUT-AWSUMEST-BAND I HAVE EVER SEEN. THERE WERE SEVERAL MOSH PITS THAT STARTED AROUND ME AND I GOT IN ONE!! EVERYONE IN THE MOSH PIT CAME OUT OF THE PIT WITH EITHER SOMETHING BLOODY OR SOMETHING BROKEN. I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO COME OUT WITH A SMALL BRUISE ON MY LEG! TO MAKE THINGS WORSE MY CELL PHONE DIED AND I LOST MY COUSIN PAYTON! THE LAST TEXT I GOT FROM HER SAID “LOOK FOR THE TALL GUY IN THE WHITE HAT” THEN MY PHONE DIED AND 5 MINUTES LATER I FOUND THE GUY IN THE WHITE HAT! I WAS SO RELIEVED! THEN I HAD TO DEAL WITH CROWD SURFERS!! THEY ALMOST GOT DROPPED ON ME! P.O.D. OPENED WITH BOOM! THEN THEY PLAYED SOUTHTOWN, SHINE WITH ME, YOUTH OF THE NATION, SET IT OFF, ALIVE, AND A SONG THEY DID WITH DEFTONES THAT I FORGOT THE NAME OF! THEY DIDN’T PLAY GOODBYE FOR NOW AND I DON’T REMEMBER IF THEY PLAYED LIGHTS OUT! BUT I WAS A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED BUT IM OVER IT! THEN IT WAS TIME FOR PUDDLE OF MUDD. KIDD ROCK WAS PLAYING AT THE SAME TIME AND THERE WAS NO ONE THERE FOR THEM BUT ME AND PAYTON WERE IN THE FRONT SCREAMING ALL THE LYRICS! SOMETHING TOLD ME THEY WERE GONNA OPEN WITH CONTROL AND I WAS RIGHT! THEY OPENED WITH CONTROL THEN THEY PLAYED FAMOUS, BLURRY, LIVING ON BORROWED TIME, BREED, T’N’T’, PSYCHO, AND SHE HATES ME. THEIR ENCORE WAS PSYCHO AND THE WHOLE CROWD WENT CRAZY! IT WAS AWSUM! THEY WERE AWSUM! AND LASTLY IT WAS TIME FOR BUCKCHERRY! I WILL DEFINANTLY BE SEEING THEM AGAIN AS WELL. THEY ARE GREAT LIVE BUT THEY ARE VERY DIRTY. THEY OPENED WITH DIRTY MIND. IT WAS AWSUM!! THEN THEY PLAYED RIDIN, TOO DRUNK…, LIT UP, EVERYTHING, SORRY, CRAZY BITCH, AND DON’T GO AWAY. OH MY GOSH! HANSON WAS AMAZING FOR THE SECOND TIME! THE FIRST BAND WAS A BAND CALLED EVERYBODY ELSE AND THEY WERE EXCELLENT, BUT THEY WERE OBAMA SUPPORTERS BUT MOST MUSCIANS ARE SO OH WELL. THEY WERE REALLY GOOD AND I MET THE COOLEST-BUT-DORKIEST-DRUMMER AFTER THE CONCERT AND I GOT A PIC WITH HIM! THEN AFTER THEM WAS A GAY BAND CALLED THE VERONICAS AND I KNEW THEY WERE OPENING UP FOR HANSON BUT I SAID I DON’T CARE I JUST WANNA SEE HANSON SO I SUFFERED THROUGH THEM FOR AN HOUR BUT I GOT OVER IT. THEN IT WAS TIME FOR HANSON! AFTER 15 MINUTES OF WAITING AFTER THE VERONICAS WERE OVER ALL OF THE ADRENALINE JUST CAME OUT. HANSON FINALLY CAME ON! THE WHOLE CROWD OF 398 GIRLS AND 2 GUYS WENT ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! IT WAS AWSUM! HANSON OPENED WITH SOMETHING GOING ROUND AND I LITERALLY FREAKED OUT! IT WAS AMAZING! THEN THEY PLAYED 2 COVER SONGS I DIDN’T KNOW THEN THEY PLAYED BEEN THERE BEFORE, FOLLOW YOUR LEAD, WHERES THE LOVE, BLUE SKY, A MINUTE WITHOUT YOU, RUNNING MAN, OH CHARLIE, MMMBOP, CANT STOP, HEY, CRAZY BEAUTIFUL, AND A FEW OTHERS THAT I DON’T REMEMBER. IT WAS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT SO FAR THAT MY PARENTS HAVE GIVEN ME! MY MOM TOLD ME THAT WE WERENT GOING TO THE CONCERT AND I TOLD HER I WANTED THAT FOR MY BIRTHDAY MORE THAN I WANTED ROCK BAND AND ALL SHE SAID WAS OK. THEN AT MY PARTY I WAS GOING THROUGH ALL OF MY PRESENTS AND EACH TIME I HELD UP A PRESENT THE PERSON THAT GAVE IT TO ME WOULD SAY OH THAT’S FROM ME AND I WOULD SAY OK AND THANK YOU. WELL I GOT TO THIS ONE CARD THAT SAID KINSEY ON THE OUTSIDE AND I SAID WHO IS THIS FROM AND NOBODY SAID ANYTHING. THEN I OPENED THE CARD AND SOMETHING FELL OUT OF IT THEN I GASPED THEN I SAID EVERYONE COVER YOUR EARS IM ABOUT TO SCREAM! SOME OF MY FRIENDS ARE PROBABLY DEAF NOW BECAUSE THAT WAS THE LOUDEST AND LONGEST SCREAM I HAVE EVER DONE!! AND EVERYBODY WAS LIKE WHAT THE CRAP AND I WAS LIKE I GOT CONCERT TICKETS AND THEN EVERYONE WAS LIKE OH WOW AND I WAS LIKE I DO THIS EVERYTIME I GET TICKETS TO A CONCERT AND THEN EVERYONE LOOKED AT MY MOM AND SAID IM SO SORRY AND SHE WAS LIKE IM USED TO IT. Winter Jam 2009 2/7/09

Winter jam was amazing this year. I got to see one of my favorite bands for the first time in 2 years. That is always good! I went to winter jam again this year because i knew family force 5 and tobyMAC were gonna be there and i was excited about that. My mom told me that i couldnt go because she wasnt gonna drive to birmingham just to see family force 5 and i got upset because she said no. But then my best friend tiffany came to the rescue and called me one day after practice and said omg kinsey what are you doing on february 7th and i screamed in the phone ARE WE GOING TO WINTER JAM?!?!?!?!? and she screamed YES and then we were both screaming and my mom told me i could go because i had a ride and i got excited! I was so happy that i got to go and my mom was happy she didnt have to take me! But anyways me and tiff counted down the days from that point and we kept getting excited each day. then finally the day came and we were so excited. we got there at like 1:30 to get in and the doors didnt open until 5. we all just stood there 2nd in line at the door waiting to get in. It was worth the wait because we got third row! that is an improvement from last year because we were at the very top last year and it was bad. but anyways it was time for the concert to start. but i had to sit through some idiot pure nrg band and some other bands i had never heard of. then newsong came on and tobyMac did a song with them and it was good. then when newsong was over it was time for family force 5! me and tiffany were as impatient as we had ever been. then they came on and they opened with dance or die! me and tiffany had spaz attacks. then they played drama queen. that is mine and tiffs. song. we were so excited! then they played fever, radiator, get your back off the wall, love addict and earthquake. when they were over me and tiff immediatly ran to the autograph line to meet the band. we waited in line for three hours and i kept running back and forth to go watch tobyMAC. i was a little mad that i couldnt enjoy tobyMAC from my third row seat but i didnt want to miss meeting Family force 5 so i waited. i watched tobyMAC from the back of the stage and he played boomin, gone, made to love, diverseCITY, burn for you, and Jesus Freak. When he played Jesus Freak confetti went EVERYWHERE it was awsum! then he was over and family force 5 finally came out and i filmed walking through the line. i met them and thanked them for playing drama queen. winter jam was awsum and hopefully good bands will be on the tour next year. go watch my videos www.youtube.com/user/concertgirl72223 i have up all the family force 5 videos exceot the autograph line and i dont have any of the toby mac videos up yet but i will have them soon.

Candlefuse Concert

ok so i saw candlefuse for the third time today. they were really good. they played ordinary, diamonds and pearls and they did covers of the friends theme song and bleeding love. it was a good show. then after the show i met the band and got pictures with them and they signed my shoes. too bad they broke up =[ but they were a good band while they lasted =]

Skillet, Disciple, and Decyfer Down 4/18/09

dude the skillet concert was amazing. decyfer down was the first band. they opened with crash. i had a freak out moment. then they played fading, fight like this, life again, and a few more. then disciple came on. they are a great live band. they opened with game on and i had another freak out moment. then they played 3,2,1, whatever reason, after the world, and rise up. they also had a really big discussion about God and how He saves you. then skillet came on. they are better everytime i see them. they opened with the intro, then they played comatose, whispers in the dark, collide, rebirthing, the last night, the older i get, those nights, the older i get, angels fall down, yours to hold, better than drugs, forsaken, two new songs: hero and monster, savior and their encore was best kept secret. me and molly had a freak out when they played that. my neck and throat hurt for a week after that but it was well worth it =]

Crawfish Boil May 5/1-2/09

dude. omg. this was an amazing concert. ok so i got there and i waited in line for like a long time to get in. but after we got i immediatly ran to the stage because saving abel was on. they were the first band of the weekend. they opened with in God's eyes. i had a freak out. then they played beatiful you, new tatoo, 18 days, drowning (face down), out of my face , and addicted.kinsey is a butthead-molly saving abel gets better everytime i see them. after saving abel was shinedown. this was the first time i had seen shinedown and they were the main reason i even wanted to go to the concert in the first place. they were ok but their sound system kept fading in and out so they werent the best live band but i will definately go see them again. they opened with the sound of madness. and they also played heroes, i dare you, fly from the inside, left out, 45, second chance, devour, and save me. they didnt play burning bright so i was a little dissapointed. but WHEN i go see them again i think they will be better. after shinedown was ll cool j. he was a lot better than i thought he would be. he played my song which is headsprung. he also played mama said knock you out and going back to cali. he threw money out into the audience. it was cool. after ll cool j was jason mraz. he was pretty good but he didnt play my song. he played the rememdy, The Dynamo of Volition, im yours, and lucky. after jason mraz was 311. they were really good. they played all mixed up, love song, amber, damn, and down. they were good. 311 closed the first day. so off to the hotel me and rhonda went to go back to sleep. =]] lol. it was time for the second day. we got there and bushwalla had already started. he was good he played ghetto blaster and gangsta. he was a really fun person to see live. he balanced his guitar on his nose. it was funny. after him it was shiny toy guns. they were amazing. they played all of my songs: le disko, you are the one, and ghost town. the girl from the band had on a cool outfit =]. anyways after shiny toy guns filter came on. they were good but i was really dissapointed with them. they didnt play mine and jasons song which is whats next. but they did play American cliche', take a picture, and hey man, nice shot. they were good and WHEN i see them again they better play whats next. after them was everclear. they were ok. i knew most of their songs but they were kinda old. they played father of mine, AM radio, wonderful, brown eyed girl, and santa monica. after everclear was katy perry. she is probably one of the funnest acts that i have seen live but her audience was crazy. she opened with fingerprints. then she played hot n cold, waking up in vegas, ur so gay, thinking of you, and i kissed a girl. she jumped out into the audience and kissed the audience it was and lol moment for me =]. then when katy perry was over. and the all american rejects came on. they were one of the best bands i have ever seen. they opened with i wanna'. then they played dirty little secret, top of the world, swing swing, mona lisa, move along, it ends tonight, the wind blows, and gives you hell. i had a freak out when they played top of the world. they were amazing. and after them was snoop dogg. he was very interesting. he played i wanna love you, ridin in my chevy, sensual seduction, and drop it like its hott. he was really good. =] in conclusion this was an amazing weekend and i hope good people come back next year =]

Eddie Vedder Concert Day One 6/17/09

omg this concert was amazigng. i have never seen anything like it. eddie opened with walking the cow, a random pink floyd song,betterman, elderly woman behind the counter in a small town, rise,society, throw your arms around me,no ceiling,hide your love away,far behind,gone,porch,driftin,golden state, ARC,and hard sun. i had a freak out for ARC and hard sun. i will post more crap tommorow.

Old 97's/Rhett Miller Concert 7/26/09

ok so i saw the old 97's today. rhett miller opened for them and then he came out and played singular girl, fireflies, and our love. then the old 97's came out and played all of my favorite songs and after the show i met the band and their tour manager gave me and molly drum sticks =] i gotta go get ready for warped tour and green day now they are in 2 and 4 days =] c ya- kinsey

Warped Tour 7/28/09

Ok warped tour was amazing. The first band I saw was the maine and they started out with their cover of pour some sugar on me. Then they played the way we talk. Then I went to go see 3OH!3. The opened with punk bitch. Then they played starstrukk, I’m not your boyfriend baby, Colorado sunrise, richman, and don’t trust me. They were great. After them I saw saoisin. They played youre not alone and voices so I was happy. After that I didn’t really wanna see any bands so molly and I went to the smart punk/hurley.com stage and we saw streetlight manifesto, cash cash, and a skylit drive. Cash cash played party in your bedroom and I freaked out. Then a skylit drive played eva the carrier and wires and the concepts of breathing. I was a very happy child. After that we went to go see underoath. They played its dangerous business just walking out your front door, a boy brushed red living in black and white, we are the involuntary, writing on the walls, in regards to myself, and moving for the sake of motion. They were great. After them I think we saw in this moment. They played forever and daddys fallen angel. I was very happy. Then molly and I walked around and I saw some of bayside and some of brokenly. They were good. Then I think we went to go attempt to see black tide but it was close to aiden coming on so we ran to aiden and they played the last sunrise, die romantic, let the right one in, we sleep forever, scavengers of the damned, the asylum, and I set my friends on fire. They were definitely on of the highlights of my day, after them I was standing in line to meet them and I watched madina lake and they played house of cards. I was happy. After I met aiden, molly and I ran to see the devil wears prada. We made it just in time to hear HTML rulez Dood so I was happy. Then when they were over it was time to go see a day to remember. They opened with the downfall of us all. Then they played im made of wax larry, what are you made of?, if it means a lot to you, and the plot to bomb the panhandle. After them it was I set my friends on fire. We ran so freaking fast to get there and these guys yelled at me and molly and were like RUN RUN!!!!! It was classic and unforgettable. I set my friends on fire played ASL, things that rhyme with orange, and but the NUNS are watching. As soon as they were over we ran all the way back to where chiodos was and they played the words “best friend” become redefined and there’s no penguins in Alaska. Molly and I freaked out. Then it was about to storm so Kevin lyman came on stage and said go to the main stage because that is where all time low will be so everybody started running there. While we were there we saw big D and the kids table. They played L.A.X. which is my song. After them was a band called Valencia and they were great. Then finally it was time for all time low and they opened with weightless. Then they played damned if I do ya (damned if I don’t), and dear maria, count me in. it was great. Green Day Concert 7/31/09

OMG the green day concert was definitely the best concert I have ever been to as of right now =] they opened with song of the century and 21st century breakdown. ok so when i got to en fuego the first band was called nine lashes and they were great. the next band was called hello august. they sucked. then some stupid rapper came on stage. then next was eleventy seven and they were great. then it was thalon and they suck. then it was after edmund. they were great. then december radio sucked. and so did superchick. family force 5 was great they played dance or die, kountry jentlemen, fever, replace me, drama queen, die4you, numb, party foul, supersonic, put ur hands up, radiator, love addict, get your back off the wall, and earthquake. they were amazing =]

dude taking back Sunday was great. they opened with whats it feel like to be a ghost. then they played sink into me, error:operator, set phasers to stun, carpathia, one eighty by summer, lonely lonely, youre so last summer, new again, liar, cute without the E, everything must go, a decade under the influence, and makedamnsure. during cut without the E matt came into our part of the crowd and i had a freak out =] i gotta go get ready for blink 182 now c ya-kinsey

Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, And Asher Roth Concert 9/18/09

Ok. words cant even describe how great this concert was. i have waited since i was 4 to see blink and i finally got to see them. this was seriously one of the best concerts i have ever been to. asher roth was the first one to go on. he played sour patch kids and i love college. he was great and i would totally go see him again. next was fall out boy. they opened with sugar we're going down. then they played thriller, i slept with someonein fall out boy and all i got was this stupid song written about me, a little less 16 candles a little more touch me, grand theft autumn/wheres your boy at, saturday, thnkz fr th mmrs, i don't care, this ain't a scene its an arms race, and they did a cover of don't stop believing. they said don't stop[ believeing was alabama's anthem. it was funny. then it was time for blink-182. they opened with dumpweed then they played feeling this, the rock show, what's my age again?, violence, i miss you, stay together for the kids, down, josie, always, stockholm syndrome, first date, man overboard, don't leave me, not now, blow job, all the small things, reckless abandon, anthem pt. 2, carousel, and dammit. i had a few major freak outs during this concert and i will never forget it as long as i live. well i have to go start preparing for bayfest go to my youtube and watch my videos. c ya - kinsey

Bayfest 2009

Saying bayfest was great would sound very cliche. But i cant think of any other way to say it. my bayfest weekend started out with cage the elephant. they were wild in a very good way. the lead singer was a headbanger and they dont even play normal headbanging music. they played ain't no rest for the wicked and in one ear. those are my songs =D. after them was stone temple pilots. they played wicked garden, vasoline, big empty, creep, sex type thing, down, sour girl, plush, interstate love song, dead and bloated, and trippin on a hole in a paper heart. i can now partially die happy now that i've seen them. then on saturday i saw a local band called top of the orange. they were good and my cousin's mom's co-workers son is the drummer. tee-hee they were really good and i hope to see them next year if i go. after them was halestorm. they opened with it's not you. then they played love/hate heartbreak, dirty work, and i get off. they also did a really cool drum solo thing. during the set change i met them and i got autographs and some pictures. then after them was pop evil. they played another romeo and juliet, breathe, 100 in a 55, and hero. during hero he walked on top of everyones hands to the tent in the back and then he started singing walk by pantera. it was great. then after them was cavo. they played let it go and champagne. i met the lead singer but that part of the story is coming up =] after cavo was chevelle. ive waited since i was 7 to see them. they played well enough alone, vitamin R (leading us along), comfortable liar, the red, jars, send the pain below, the clincher, and i get it. at that time if someone shot me i wouldnt have cared because chevelle was so great. then after them was 3 doors down. i hadn't seen them since 2003. and they put on a great show once again. they played duck and run, citizen/soilder, away from the sun, here without you, let me be myself, loser, train, be like that, kryptonite, and when im gone. during the middle of loser i went to meet the lead singer of cavo. i was so freaked out to ask him but i worked up enough courage to ask him to take a picture. im so glad i did. my feet have never hurt so bad before but it was well worth it. now i have to go get ready for the will hoge concert c ya - kinsey

Will Hoge Concert 10/16/09

So i just got back from the best will hoge concert i have ever been to. No joke. so here is the setlist. just like me, let me be lonely, second hand heart, she dont care, the wreckage, heartbreak avenue, draw the curtains, someone else's baby, favorite waste of time, better off now (that your gone), wish, what could i do?, highway wings, not that cool, dirty little war, when i can afford to lose, even if it breaks your heart, ms. williams, It's a shame, long gone, be the one, Hard to love, woman be strong, all night long, encore break, southern belle, baby girl, the highways home, doesnt have to be that way, and too late too soon. my least favorite will hoge song is baby girl and he played it and he messed up the beggining because his guitar was in the wrong key. and i was a little annoyed by that because i have a very strong dislike for the song. but he played for close to two and a half hours and it was great.=] after the show i went to meet him and i gave him a BIG hug and told him he was my best friend and i loved him. he laughed. it made my night. =] lol i also thanked him for playing all the old songs. i hope he comes back to b-ham soon. c ya - kinsey
