The Avett Brothers and Grace Potter and The Nocturnals Tuscaloosa, Alabama 10/11/12

Oh my gosh I love The Avett Brothers. Every time I see them, they just get better. They have the best energy out of all the bands I have seen and they harmonize so well because they are brothers. Grace Potter was the opener. I had heard for awhile that she was a great live performer and she proved right. She danced so "Gracefully"(pun intended). Her voice gave me chill bumps from the moment she walked on stage. She played

During the middle of her set she talked about how Avett's rug was already out on the floor. She talked about how it had tape on it: some for the show, and some not. There is a piece of tape that says "Willie Stood Here" That is probably the coolest story I have ever heard at a concert. 

Then it was time for Avett. I was so stoked. They ran onto the stage and immediately went into Talk On Indolence. The way that they speak that song is just incredible. The rest of the set was perfect and I've tried my best to put into words how great this show was.
